The AAU Indoor Track and Field National Championships are returning for their (9th) consecutive year, attracting athletes nationwide for their last chance to compete for an AAU Indoor National Championship. This marks the third consecutive year that the Virginia Beach Sports Complex will host the event. 

The indoor track facility at the Virginia Beach Sports Center boasts a 200-meter hydraulically banked track with an 8-lane straightaway, complemented by 6 lanes around the oval. Athletes will compete in one of the nation's premier facilities. With a capacity for 5,000 spectators, the venue is conveniently located near local shops, restaurants, and attractions, including the picturesque boardwalk and beaches of the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, just steps away.
 

Races will start today Friday March 1, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. The first event to start the competition will be the 1500 Meter Race Walk. The top 8 finishers in individual and relay races will be receiving awards. Athletes from 5 and under up to 18 years old will be competing over the weekend.
