Even with all the tournament jitters and excitement, the fun never stopped off the court. Session 1 was made special with the AAU Cares Dig Pink campaign on June 16th. Many teams showed up and showed out with some awesome Dig Pink spirit. Additionally, some great memories were made via the AAUsports TikTok channel. Did you make the cut?
Pool play kicked off the tournament on Wednesday. Friday was one of the staples of the AAU Junior National Volleyball Championships with the Dig Pink Campaign. As part of the AAU Cares initiative, AAU is again partnering with the Side-Out Foundation as an official Dig Pink Campaign location, raising awareness and money for breast cancer research. All participants were encouraged to wear pink for AAU’s Dig Pink Day on June 16th. Sessions 3 and 4 will also participate in the campaign on June 24th and 28th.
