The AAU Track and Field National Championships will take place this weekend, July 6th through July 14th highlighting the AAU Primary Nationals and the AAU Club Nationals.
The AAU Track and Field National Championships host elite competition including more than 5,000 runners from all over the world. These events will be held at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort. Watch as athletes run the track that was once run by elite athletes such as three-time Olympic gold medalist LaShawn Merritt and former world’s fastest man Justin Gatlin.
The 10th Annual AAU National Primary Championships are designed to promote the Grass Roots Programs and to add another National Championship to AAU Track & Field. It also gives athletes the opportunity to compete in single age groups 5, 6, 7 and 8 years old.
The 22nd Annual AAU Club Championships are the last qualifier for the 2018 AAU Junior Olympic Games being held July 27- August 4 at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
